Staff Field Appraiser

Department: Operations
Reporting to: Appraisal Field Manager
Location: Massachusetts – Middlesex, Worcester and Norfolk Counties
FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Objective:

The Staff Field Appraiser’s (SFA) primary objective is to complete high quality residential appraisal reports with industry leading turnaround times. The SFA will participate in projects as needed and as directed by their manager. The SFA will represent Pro Teck’s high commitment to professionalism and ethics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce top quality appraisal reports with industry best turnaround times
• Manage inspection scheduling within Pro Teck SLAs
• Provide highest standards of customer service
• Submit appraisal reports post inspection within or exceeding Pro Teck SLA
• Address revisions and requests for information within or exceeding Pro Teck SLA
• Proactively manage exceptions via Pro Teck case management interface (REMAN)
• Maintain state Certification
• Maintain reliable means of transportation
• Participate in and complete corporate training
• Assist the team and management in additional responsibilities that may arise

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential real estate appraisal
• Associates/Bachelor’s degree required
• Active State Certified Appraisals License and FHA Approved

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

• Ability to perform work with accuracy, clarity, consistency and thoroughness
• Ability to plan, organize and analyze daily workload for optimum productivity
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and be a team player
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and good judgment skills
• High professional standards and ethics
