Staff Appraiser – Field

 

Department: Vendor Management

Reporting to: TBD

Location: MA and CT (Worcester, Middlesex, Bristol, Norfolk, Plymouth and Essex Counties. Hartford, CT)

FLSA Status: Exempt/Non-Exempt

 

Job Objective:

The Staff Appraiser – Field’s (SAF) primary objective is to complete high quality residential appraisal reports with industry leading turnaround times. The SAF will manage all aspects of scheduling, exception management, system updating, submitting and QC of their assignments. The SAF will participate in projects as needed and as directed by their manager. The SAF will represent Pro Teck’s high commitment to professionalism and ethics.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce top quality appraisal reports with industry best turnaround times
  • Manage inspection scheduling within Pro Teck SLAs
  • Submit appraisal reports post inspection within or exceeding Pro Teck SLA
  • Address revisions and requests for information within or exceeding Pro Teck SLA
  • Proactively manage exceptions via Pro Teck case management interface (REMAN)
  • Review appraisal, BPO, Mortgage Inspection, desk review, reconciliation and CollateralPoint reports as needed
  • Meet or exceed production and quality standards by averaging 8-10 report completions per week
  • Maintain state Certification
  • Maintain reliable means of transportation
  • Participate in and complete corporate training
  • Assist the team and management in additional responsibilities that may arise

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential real estate appraisal
  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree required
  • Active State Certified Appraisals License and FHA Approved

  • Ability to perform work with accuracy, clarity, consistency and thoroughness
  • Ability to plan, organize and analyze daily workload for optimum productivity
